Is Shelling Out Money For Advertising Worth It?

Many internet marketers wonder whether it’s really worth it to shell out a few bucks (or sometimes even more) for advertising. In my opinion, it is good to increase exposure of your site/blog and it is even more beneficial if you have created a brand around yourself.

However, while choosing your publishing outlet exercise extreme caution as more often than note things are not what they seem to be. There have been numerous instances where people publish  false statistics with the objective of gaining advertisers. This maybe prove profitable in the short-term but it ultimately ruins your name and reputation in the long-term, so I strongly suggest you publish correct statistics. Is it worth it to ruin your name for a few bucks?

So, in the end, it is strongly upto you whether to indulge in paid advertising or not. There are  tons of free advertising opportunities available which are equally good if not better.

Entrecard was such an opportunity until the spammers took over argghhh! StumbleUpon, Digg and other social media sites also provide platforms for advertising if used correctly.  A newcomer to social media sites is Sphinn but in my opinion, it has the potential to overtake sites like Digg. The interface is sleek yet you have command over a wide range of features and the press talks about a lot of stories hitting the Sphinn frontpage.

Be generous and buy me a coffee!
