I’m going NUTS. Learning to make time boundaries.

With two home care agencies to work for now, instead of one, it introduces new problems, such as being unavailable when the other agency needs you. There’s so much more communicating that has to go on about scheduling. But, I think I have landed some good hours today. A nurse taught me how to do tube feedings. With some regular hours and less substitute assignments with meeting strangers every day, I can start to get back on track with blogging. Being both a home care worker AND an online entrepreneur, I am noticing the need to set clear boundaries on my time.
In the quest to get more hours, after the loss of my full time client, I ended up with 45 hours with several different people spread between 7 days.
And I had to say, I really need one day a week where I don’t have to go anywhere.
It’s amazing how much even ONE day where you don’t have to go anywhere or get up early can regenerate your physical and emotional energy and it’s also amazing how draining it can be to work 5 to 6 hour shifts 7 days a week.
The challenge of the entrepreneur who is doing what they love to do - you can still get worn out doing what you love to do. Keep things in balance. Which reminds me - I haven’t had my walk yet today.
