Investing: Seeking financial independence through flipping real estate

As a budding entrepreneur who seeks strong financial independence, my eventual goal is to come by owning my own property through acquiring a foreclosed property. However, it is necessary for me to get more educated on the topic, and not just rush into this just because I think it is a cool idea. The primary attraction for me would be the lower price, that would make it more affordable to me, and the fact that I like to fix things up, and some of the foreclosures out there are fixer uppers.

I am reading some interesting articles on Dodio (real estate maryland being one of them). Articles on Dodio include some links where you can search for foreclosures and find out what the difference is between an REO and a regular foreclosure. There’s an invaluable tool there that tells you how much the property you are looking at may be worth, and information on how to make a lowball offer. Even though you may think a lowball offer may be insulting to the seller, a video explains why actually sellers welcome any and all offers.

The most important thing for me right now as I am looking into this method of growing my assets, is to work on reducing my levels of debt, increasing my income, and paying attention to my credit score. As I do this, I am gathering the knowledge it takes to be able to pull off buying and reselling foreclosures.

Be generous and buy me a coffee!
